What is Jungian Analysis

A content can be integrated only when its double aspect has become conscious and when it is grasped not merely intellectually but understood according to its feeling-value.

C. G. Jung

Jungian analysis promotes healing and life-changing awareness. In a Jungian analysis an individual joins a trained analyst in an exploration of unconscious contents that arise through dreams, active imagination and daily life events. By fostering careful dialogue between the unconscious and conscious, an analysis brings new insights into unhealthy patterns and problematic un-owned aspects of the individual. This process, called individuation, promotes a deeper understanding of oneself emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Through the cultivation of meaning, an analysis enriches one's relationship to self and others.
